Mucaro
Mucaro is really more a conception than a band but we consider it the studio band for Dark Hollow Studios. Started by Dennis, Shayne and Jim, we are a group of musicians that come together to write, record and play original music but the core and main recording team has always been Dennis and Jim. Other players vary from project to project but there are a few core musicians and good friends that can be relied on to help out whenever we need them or if they have a project of their own. We can also bring in other talented musicians to provide other instrumentation, fiddle, steel guitar, vocals, etc. as well. We have about 7 CD's under our belts after about 10 years or so of work. The music ranges from country to contemplative rock, music intended to be listened to in depth. A list of the musicians that have lent their talents to Mucaro and the studio can be found below. Most of these guys have been associated with other bands throughout the years, including: The Goons, Israfel, Hired Gunz, Last Stage Out, Prairie Fire, Dark Hollow Band and the list goes on and on. Needless to say they are a talented, experienced group of players.
